A little goes a long way, so begin with less and add more where needed. Fingertips tend to provide a heavier, more accurate application, while a dampened sponge infused with product gives a lighter, sheerer effect.
Use long outward strokes to blend the product into the skin, and a tapping motion for more concentrated coverage on troubled areas True Concealer Skintones 1-5 are color matched to the corresponding shades in Reality Base and may be layered on top of Reality Base for added coverage. Both True Concealer and Reality Base may set with Transparent Finish for longer wear.
The difference between foundation and concealer
Foundation is a translucent product that is rubbed into the skin in order tocreate a more uniform tone. Concealer, however, is an opaque product that is tapped onto flawed areas, after the foundation is applied, in order to completely camouflage them.
If you are using the right colors, your concealer and foundation (or concealer and bare skin, if you don't wear foundation) should blend together seamlessly. Applying foundation over concealer in order to make the two "match" is pointless - the rubbing motion needed to blend the foundation into the skin will simply remove the concealer.
