What is Lanolin?

Lanolin is a natural blend of oils and waxes found on sheep's wool. The oils and waxes are washed from the wool shorn from the sheep. It is obtained without any cruelty to the sheep.

Lanolin is a natural, renewable, environmentally friendly material renowned for its abilitities to protect, soften and moisturise the skin.

What is medical grade Lanolin?

It is Lanolin that has been highly refined to remove impurities, allergens and foreign substances.

Is it hypoallergenic?

Yes. In fact it is one of the safest ingredients in the marketplace. Cases of lanolin allergies are extremely rare and it is so safe that it is widely used as an ingredient in pharmaceutical products, baby products, skin treatments and eye ointments.
