Pattern baldness is perceived when hair follicles begin to miniaturize. As hair follicles shrink, the new hair shafts they produce become increasing smaller and finer with each following hair cycle. When a person experiencing noticeable hair loss the follicles become too miniaturized and weak to generate hair and fall into a dormant state. Follicles can remain in a dormant state for several years until ultimately they completely stop producing hair. iRestore assists most users by stimulating and producing light energy for these small hairs making them healthier and stronger and starts growing again.

Directions

The product put on the head like a hat. Place the adjustable "laser bridge" in any position and pressure of the supplied control's power button, followed by the start/pause button to start the treatment. You can see how much time remaining by the digital display on the control. It terminates automatically after 10 minutes.

This treatment is recommended to use three times per week for 10 to 20 minutes each time, by area. The hair follicles could potentially stop responding to the laser if used too often.

Is it safe and how does it feel?

The device has class 3A 5MW lasers, which has been deemed to be safe by the Food and Drug Administration. You may experience some scalp tingling, but there is no burning or heat sensations. The treatment has no known side effects.

How long will it take until I see results?

It generally takes 2 months to begin visually seeing an improvement and 9 months for the hair to completely grow back in. The speed of normal hair growth is roughly 1.25 centimeters per month, being about 15 centimeters per year. The older you are the speed of hair growth may slow down to as little as 0.25 cm a month. Be patient and understand that the hair revitalization process does not occur overnight, you could see gradual positive changes month after month.
