Ole Henriksen was born and raised in a tiny village, Nibe, in the Danish countryside. After an idyllic upbringing, Ole’s desire for adventure took him to Indonesia. It was during this period his skin became inflamed with cystic acne. Luckily he fell into the hands of a talented aesthetician named Lagita, at whose clinic in Jakarta he began getting treatments. Lagita’s magic, preformed with various botanicals, brought his complexion back to perfection and with that Ole’s interest in skin care was piqued. Eager to learn more, Ole moved to London to pursue degrees in skin care and cosmetic chemistry, before venturing over to the United States.

Ole Henriksen’s spa business has been servicing the LA skin care scene for 3 decades. Located along the exclusive Sunset Plaza section of Sunset Boulevard, Ole Henriksen Face/Body has become a prominent landmark and was awarded best Day Spa by AOL in 2004. Numerous TV shows are filmed at his chic spa, including recent segments in connection with the Academy Awards and MTV Awards. Reality shows like Average Joe and Queer Eye for the Straight Girl have just completed filming segments for the fall season 2004 as well. The spas clients include: Naomi Campbell, Renee Zellweger, Ralph Fiennes, Charlize Theron, Mark Wahlberg, Julia Stiles, Kylie Minogue, Mathew McConaughey, Linda Evangelista, Lisa Marie Presley, Brendan Fraser, Cher, Christy Turlington and Helena Christensen to mention a few. Ole is no stranger to the U.S. press. He has appeared on television on programs such as Oprah Winfrey, The Today Show, Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, plus specials on E!, The Style Network and Lifetime Television. Ole has also served as a judge for the Miss Universe Pageant as well as authoring a best-selling book “Ole Henriksen’s Seven Day Skin Care Program”. These are substantial accomplishments for a man who has stated time again that him main skin care ambition is to ensure each and every client is rewarded with the best skin possible.
