The fresh scent of REPLAY Your Fragrance is further enhanced by an exciting innovation in the world of fine fragrances: the patented reactivation technology. In a traditional fragrance, the fragrance oils are continually evaporating after spraying on skin. Many wearers would like the freedom of choice to rewind their fragrance to an earlier episode in its evolution.

The new REPLAY fragrances provide that freedom by containing a special partner molecule, which traps some of the perfume oils and releases them again when triggered. These special molecules are a type of naturally occurring Cyclodextrin, with a ring-like construction. They readily carry perfume oil in their Oleophilie central cavity, but are unique in that their hydrophilic outer shell has a preference for water.

Therefore, by gently spraying water onto the skin where the fragrance with Reactivation technology has been applied, the outher shell dissolves and the fragrance oils are released again: the fragrance can be replayed a few hours after it has been applied.
