One morning, in 2003, Kent Yu observed his wife's morning routine. It included a wardrobe full of stylish, designer clothes with accessores to match. Not to mention, high-priced, high-performing beauty produts like La Mer. And to finish the look? A $30 hair dryer from a local pharmacy. There had to be a better way.

Believing he could build a better product, Kent also thought about hairstylists. Why couldn't they have a high-performance product that didn't damage hair, weigh 3 lbs and strain their arms? He found the answer in the form of Tourmaline.

Armed with a secret ingredient and innovative technology, he set out on a mission to deliver a truly superior blow dryer.

And so, the T3 Featherweight was born.
